bedaka The whole EP is great, but Signal really is the Track that keeps me coming back. Love its melancholic but also euphoric vibe. Favorite track: Signal.

about

"Entropy Ep" is the first release by The Ashram Mechanics, a four track player built around the concept of state changing materials. Animated by raw analog sounds, this dub infused techno record seems like it has been taken straight from the crater of an active volcano: taking off along dusts and ashes in “Reykjavik”, you will soon feel the warmth of “Termite” where chemical agents meticulously cut and reduce steel into pieces. “Signal” will bring you to the point of realization where “Entropy”, showing you the greater law of thermodynamics in action, may very well turn your brain into a molten soup of plasma. This is sound with a purpose and despite its relative simplicity you will find depth of scope here. With many metaphors and hidden meanings, any dive into “Entropy Ep” holds the premise of a fresh and fascinating experience.
