Since his debut release on F4TMusic, Afriqua has continuously pushed the boundaries of his personal sound, with even less regard for current trends of electronic music as time progresses. This approach has led to yet another fresh, exciting F4T release devoid of any binary clichés.
First heard in his Inverted Audio mix in February, these tunes both maintain a perfect balance between flowing deep rhythm and subtle, but effective climactic moments. On side 4, Afriqua further explores his take on the deep house vibe. It's deep rolling bassline and spacey synths make this a sure gem for any progressive lovers. Tanz is the more techno oriented of the two, with an epic acid bass line, carried by sparse, but driving drums and percussion on top.
With previous releases supported by the likes of Dusky, Audiofly, Vince Watson, Xhin, GoldFFinch and Boris, this 12” is set to maintain Afriqua's reputation as an authentic purveyor of bass, space and everything in between.
